So you take photos?

For as long as I can remember, my daughter Keli has always been my buddy. She has always followed me around. She is creative. She is an entrepreneur. She is a hustler. Well, this next one does not come as a shock… She is a photographer. This is her work. It’s like I downloaded all of my existence into her head. I will let her tell it better. Below is what she wrote when she posted her first photo on Instagram.

Here it goes…my first picture for my portfolio. For as long as I could remember I have been surrounded by photography due to my amazing dad, @michaelgilbertlopez , constantly working on his craft in photography. I have watched him grow and learn so much about taking photos and what it takes for a photo to be great. Little did I know that I was subconsciously taking in all the photography information he talked about over the years. When I took photos of a family friend for her maturity shoot, I showed the photos to my dad and we both realized that they were really freakin decent lol. But that’s because for the past 20 years, it seems, I have listen to my dad without truly knowing it. So then I thought, “I am young & I don’t have kids or a husband yet. All I have to do is worry about myself. One thing I will never get back is time. Why not try something new today? You will never know if it will work out or if you will love it, but it doesn’t hurt to try.” So, here it is, the first photo I’d like to share with the world. 🌻 & Thank you @michaelgilbertlopez for sharing your wisdom with me✨📷✨
