I was having dinner with my family this evening at the Elephant Bar. The waiter served us food and drinks. We were just enjoying the evening. The waiter then came back to our table and told my wife and I, how appreciative he was that our children were so polite. He was impressed by them saying, “thank you” and “please”. He said most kids just demand stuff and parents don’t teach their children to respect other people.

This got me to thinking about Wesley Davis and his family. I only have two children to teach. Wesley on the other hand has a serious crew. But what is so great is how respectful, charming, intelligent, and caring his children are. Wesley himself is a really humble man.

He and his family have the Wendale Davis Foundation which helps at risk youth avoid the pitfalls of gang life. Become involved with their Facebook Fan Page to keep up with events and news about the foundation.

Our future of America starts with you and your children. What you teach them will shape their character for life. Take the time today to teach your kids about love and respect and watch our world change.

Write it down. Take a picture. I don't give a f*ck!
