My Spring & Summer of Basketball

I had a very busy Spring & Summer. I first traveled to San Antonio, Texas for the NCAA Women’s Final Four. I had the chance to see my god-daughter Aari McDonald play against UConn in the National Semi-Final game and win!

I then traveled to the ATL and watched the Hawks play the Magic. The next day I watched Dewanna Bonner and the Suns play against Aari and the Dream. Dewanna is family as me and her dad have been best friends for over 20 plus years.

My good friend Quin called me and said, “I got two tickets to the Mavs vs Clippers, game 7! You wanna go?” Well, you know that answer!

NBA Summer League is always lit! So, I traveled to Las Vegas for a few days and had a blast watching the #1 and #2 picks battle it out in Sin City.

Back to Los Angeles to watch Aari play against the Sparks. You know I had to sit courtside.

I’m not done yet. Here I come DC. I flew to DC to watch Dewanna Bonner play against her sister, Erica McCall. Erica is family. I love both of these phenomenal women that my friend Greg McCall calls daughters.

Goodbye DC. Wait… Dewanna is playing in LA against the Sparks. I’m tired but what the hell.

The last 6 months have been a blast. I love the game of basketball. Plus, I know three WNBA players and they all call me Uncle Mike.

I love it.

Write it down. Take a picture. I don't give a f*ck!
